What is Biotin?

Biotin, vitamin B7 also known as the beauty vitamin, is essential for the body's energy metabolism. It strengthens hair, skin and nails, and promotes energy and vitality by supporting carbohydrate, fat and amino acid metabolism.

What is Plant-Based Collagen?

Collagen is usually associated with animal sources, but our collagen is made from a high-tech fermentation method of plants. The collagen is designed from 17 amino acids that activate and optimize the formation of your own collagen production and energy metabolism. Collagen strengthens the elasticity of various tissues in the body, and it plays a particularly important role in skin care.

Collagen in skincare has the following benefits for skin health and appearance:

Collagen is central to the skin's firmness and elasticity:

As we age, collagen production naturally declines, which can lead to a loss of skin firmness and suppleness. By adding collagen to skin care products or by stimulating collagen production through ingredients like liposomal vitamin C, you can help maintain and improve skin firmness, resulting in a more youthful and radiant appearance. Our Collagen Serum is a moisture and elasticity booster.

Strengthens skin health and resilience:

Collagen acts as a supportive structure that helps protect the skin from environmental aggressors, pollution, and UV rays. Therefore, using collagen in skin care products can help maintain a healthy and protected skin barrier.

Positive effects on bones and joints:

Collagen is essential for maintaining the strength and flexibility of bones and joints. Including collagen in your skincare routine can provide long-lasting benefits that not only improve the appearance of your skin, but also support your bones and joints.

Is Vitamin C important?

Vitamin C :is an essential vitamin, which means that you must get it from your diet, as you cannot produce vitamin C yourself. The vitamin is water-soluble, which means that very little of the vitamin is actually utilized by the body, as the vitamin is excreted in the urine. With our liposome technology, vitamin C is encapsulated in liposomes (i.e. in fatty acids), thereby protecting it from degradation and circulating longer in the body.

1) Vitamin C encapsulated in liposomes works even better as an antioxidant, thereby protecting cells even better against oxidative stress.

2) Vitamin C provides a better immune system and is a necessary component for the synthesis of collagen formation. At the same time, it contributes to the repair of wounds.

3) Vitamin C also increases the absorption of iron, which is especially important for women.

What is Xylitol?

Xylitol (real Finnish birch sugar)
Our natural Xylitol is harvested from birch trees in Finland. The process is almost the same as harvesting maple syrup. Xylitol is a type of sugar, with almost the same sweetness as sugar, BUT has only 4 Kcal/100 g compared to sugar, which has 100 Kcal/100 g. Xylitol contributes to the prevention of tooth decay (caries). Xylitol also helps reduce bacterial growth, ensuring optimal oral hygiene.

What is Liposomal Technology?

Liposomes are microscopic lipid spheres that protect and transport nutrients through biological barriers. In our Biotin & Collagen dietary supplement, we use advanced liposome technology to encapsulate biotin and plant-based collagen in phospholipids, which resemble the skin's own fat matrix. This ensures deep hydration and effective barrier protection. Since 2015, we have been working purposefully with the research and development of liposomes and can proudly call ourselves specialists in the field.

The technology is used specifically within professional dermatology for the prevention and treatment of various skin problems. See Corneotherapy on our blog.
